Welcome, thanks for checking this out! I am a mom of three grown boys and a teacher to all! I got my start at MHLT back in 1967 as the first kindergarten class to attend ,in the then, new building!  I guess you could say "I haven't gone very far in life"!  I graduated from Lakeland in 1980 and attended UW-LaCrosse, where I received my Master's Degree in Education.

But seriously, I have been teaching here for over 20 years. My various teaching titles have included Resource Teacher, At-Risk, K-5 Art, 6th Grade Math,  2nd Grade and 3-5 Creative Minds Teacher (my favorite role)! In the past, I have also coached middle school basketball and xc skiing as well as high school softball.

I  currently have a number of roles here at MJ1 including, Cross Country Coach, Environmental Club Advisor, Yearbook Coordinator and Math Interventionist for 1st-8th grade.

Outside of school, I enjoy any outdoor activity. My favorites include running, photography, fishing, golfing, xc skiing, and snowmobiling.
